This translates to the perfect addition to any yoga practice, as its tranquillizing aroma provides relief from everyday worries and stressors while it encourages your muscles to relax during deep stretching poses. Use this soothing scent in conjunction with meditation by adding five drops of lavender oil onto a clean cotton ball, tucking it under an armpit near the ribs on one side only. Place another clean cotton ball in an identical spot on the opposite side. Let the scents mingle together for 10 minutes before inhaling deeply through each nostril 2 times per breath cycle.
